Denver Thrive Post Mormon Community: Pie and Beer Day celebration
Many Ex-Mormons from the so-called “Mormon Corridor” grew up celebrating Pioneer Day; an annual Utah state holiday recognizing the entry of the Mormon pioneers into the area and the establishment of the Utah territory. It can be a good time and some of us in the post-Mormon community want to maintain this aspect of our culture and heritage.
For the 4th year in a row Denver Thrive is hosting a very special reclaiming of the holiday called Pie and Beer Day.
