I was thrilled to be asked to co-produce and present at a Penn After Hours event for the Molly Brown House Museum. I was responsible for creating the concept for an event with pre-recorded scripted vignettes and then presenting on the history of the Victorian dress reform movement.
Writing about social justice issues is a passion of mine. I loved the opportunity to present an overview of the American birth equity crisis to the AfterThird readers. I have followed this post with a social media series on the topic and this project shows my ability to create an integrated content plan.
Being hired as a regular contributor for Recollections has been a professional dream come true. Each blog post is based on personal research and has led to increased engagement on the company blog.

I had the privilege to manage the design of a new website for Carlson Crafted, a high-end door producer. Using my own concept I worked closely with the designer to create the outline for the site, worked with the owners of the company to develop the content, and created original copy for the entire site.

Using multiple staff interviews and industry research, I wrote this article about working as a sales associate at Ed Bozarth Chevrolet and the copy for the attached infographic. As project lead, it is a good example of my ability to come up with a concept and execute it with a competent graphic designer.
Taking direction from the client and utilizing statistics provided, the following article was written to demonstrate the quality of service provided by an innovative and rising star in the Australian recruitment sector.

The blog was the recipient of several awards during my time on staff and received consistent high readership.
Using a personally designed brief and a short interview with the client, I created the simple yet descriptive copy for the Bremer Farms website.
With the objective of reaching prospective small business owners in the greater Melbourne area, I created a panel of local small business owners who were willing to tell their stories. The copy of the event was crafted to appeal to all small business owners, regardless of their background in corporate organizations, but with the promise of hearing what works and what doesn’t when it comes to the dream of being self-employed.
‘It’s time to move’ is part of a 14-day email support program that I have developed for women who are going through separations from romantic partners. This email demonstrates my ability to speak to a targeted audience and is a good example of an email with an intimate style sent to a list.
When the nonprofit organization needed its funding materials edited and proofread in time for their deadline 24-hours later, I was happy to step in. Copyedited using Australian English, the documents were checked for consistency, spelling, punctuation, and grammar; along with the statistics cross-checked.
I love to write about history! Knowing that Thanksgiving was coming up I submitted this well-researched list of fun facts about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. The topic was an original idea and the article is written using original research. Each of the 10 facts on the list has reputable resources. The article demonstrates my ability to devise creative content, conduct research, and write in a digestible format.
I had a great time interviewing Ashley Martinez of the Pine Ridge Dude Ranch about her family’s history with the resort and her portrayal of Mrs. Claus. This article represents my ability to conduct interviews and research and then take what I have learned and turn it into digestible material for blog purposes.
Produced using my own research, 10 High Successful Liars from History is an article that is humorous, informative, and well documented. Using multiple sources to tell the stories of each of the historical figures I selected, the piece is easy to read while also intellectual.
I love to tell the stories of lesser-known women from history! Isadora Duncan was a fascinating woman with a story that will hopefully be turned into a film someday. I was honored to write this article about her life for Sheroes of History.
