Let’s get down to it!

A little more about me.

I always knew I wanted to be a writer and work with words.

I always knew I wanted to be a writer and work with words. I grew up admiring my grandfather, an English professor and respected freelance journalist. I received two B.A.s from Arizona State University, one in English and one in Women’s Studies, and my fondest memories of that time are of spending my days in the library writing essays.

After ASU I attended New York University and obtained an MPA in Nonprofit Management (I also love to help others!). It was during this time that I decided to turn my interest in writing into a career and I have been freelancing ever since.

Some of the industries I have worked with:

  • Nutrition
  • Builders and contractors
  • Diversity and Inclusion
  • Print publications
  • Life coaches
  • Branding agencies
  • Birth and maternal health
  • Fashion
  • History-related publications
  • Venues and restaurants
  • Business coaches
  • Automotive
  • Health and wellness

Being a freelancer has also provided me the opportunity to travel around the world with my work and I had the privilege of being granted two different skilled workers visas as a writer during my time living in Australia. I currently thrive in Denver, Colorado where I enjoy a diverse clientele and project load.

Outside of work I can be found nerding it up with my nose in a historical biography, volunteering as a docent at the Molly Brown House Museum, spending hours in thrift shops looking for vintage treasures, or being a crazy plant lady. Hiking, exploring new towns, and enjoying a craft cocktail are weekend go-to’s.

I would love to hear about the big plans that you have for your business. Visit my services page here to see what I am currently offering or schedule a time to speak with me here.
