Date Aired: March 27, 2025

Produced By Janice Formichella

Breakups, Broken Hearts, and Moving On is a weekly podcast about healing broken hearts, building confidence, and moving forward in an empowered way. It is the perfect balance of science, spirituality, and sass.

With a heavy dose of optimism, I share what I’ve learned from personal experience AND as a breakup coach to help you though this time.

With over 200 episodes, it is more than a podcast, it is a resource library for people on any phase of their breakup healing journey.

If you feel that you are in an unhealthy relationship I hope our stories will help you find the information, strength, and courage you need to remove yourself and look toward a brighter future.

Episode Description

Trigger warning: Emotional abusive, domestic violence,  intimate partner control.

What do you do when you end up in a relationship that is unhealthy, toxic, and abusive? Today I am joined by a close friend who recently went through it.

I’ve been through it too. And today I get to chat with Kelsey about our stories and how we navigated situations no one ever wants to find themselves in. We talk about:

-What attracted us to the men who ended up almost breaking us

-The early red flags that we ignored or didn’t recognize

-The moments we realized how bad our situations were (our “oh shit” moments)

-Signs of an unhealthy relationship

-How we got out

-What helped and what hurt as we healed and moved on

If you feel that you are in an unhealthy relationship I hope this episode will help you find the information, strength, and courage you need to remove yourself and look toward a brighter future.

If you or someone you know is in an unsafe or abusive relationship please reach out to the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-7233.

Being broken up with featuring Chris Gillis

Let’s get real…having someone tell you they no longer want to continue a relationship really hurts.
AND – you can learn SO much from it.
I am lucky to have a very high value man come on the show this week and talk about being broken up with multiple times. Welcome to the show Chris Gillis.

My breakup story: Mike

I love the chance to chat with brave people from around the world about what made their healing a success, especially when they are past or present clients of mine. Today we welcome Mike to the show to chat about the life changes he made as a result of committing to his healing, trying new things, and LEARNING about himself after his last breakup.
